Robert Mundy is an Associate Professor of Writing and Rhetoric who has served as both a department chair and writing program administrator for first-year writing and the writing center. His teaching and research focus on composition pedagogy, rhetorical theory, writing program administration, and assessment design. He is the co-editor and author of Out in the Center: Public Controversies, Private Struggles (Utah State University Press), winner of the 2019 International Writing Center Association Book Award, co-author of Literacies of Masculinity (Routledge), and co-editor and author of Come As You Are: Centering the Self in First Year Writing (Pace University Press). Robert has also published in venues such as The Journal of Basic Writing, Grading for Growth, The Writing Center Journal, and The Peer Review: Journal for Writing Center Practitioners.
Isaac Ramaswamy is a retired English teacher with 28 years of instructional experience, of which 16 were spent serving as department chair at both the middle and high school levels in the Sachem Central School District on Long Island. Across these roles, he provided instructional and curricular leadership spanning multiple grade levels, supporting alignment between middle and high school English programs while working closely with faculty to strengthen curriculum design, assessment practices, instructional coherence, and student engagement.
Alysa Robin Hantgan is an educator, writer, and curriculum consultant specializing in educational design, pedagogical innovation, and high-impact learning experiences. With more than a decade of experience in higher education, she develops curricula, programs, signature initiatives, educator professional development, and instructional resources that strengthen writing and literacy, teaching and learning, experiential and community-engaged education, and student success. Alysa is the co-editor and author of Come As You Are: Centering the Self in First-Year Writing. She earned an MFA in Fiction from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA in Communication from the University of Michigan. Before entering higher education, Alysa spent more than twenty years in film, television, and arts and culture programming, including entrepreneurial and educational ventures. These experiences continue to shape her creative, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approach to educational design.
